Sittingbourne registration district

Does anyone know the registration district of Sittingbourne  AFTER 1974 please?
I am trying to find a death date, and knowing the district name would narrow down the choices considerably.

Sittingbourne Register Office closed in 1980 and the registers are now held at Swale - still in Sittingbourne!

The Swale district I think I should start looking under for post 1980 death.

The link sent only refers UP TO 1974. I wonder what happened between 1974 and 1980?
