I am tracing the Nesbit family of Kirknewton, Northumberland and William Nesbit married Eleanor Lindsay, she was also known as Lilly Lindsay, they married on 26/12/1808 in Kirknewton. the family went to live in Kelso before 1852 and I know the Lindsay family are well connected with Kelso.
Can anyone link up Eleanor (Lilly) with any previous Lindsay's from this area. She must have been born in the late 1780's.
