I am looking for the marriage of Margaret Barton  b about 1870/1 to ?? Bell in Dumfriess.

Bell died  year unknown
and Margaret remarried to Robert Johnstone on 6 nov 1906.at Dumfries

Margaret is the daughter of Thomas Carlyle Barton and Janet Irving.

Believe Margaret had one son to her first husband   ? Bell.

Any help appreciated  with this.

John Bell married Maggie Barton in 1896 in Parish of Hoddam.
There rae two John Bell deaths in the period 1896 - marriage to Maggie - and 1906 when you say she remarried.

One John Bell died in 1898 aged 0 and the second in 1903 aged 82, both in Hoddom Parish.
