My mother whose folks were all from Ballymena still uses the word OXTERGOG.  She says "The auld boy from nextdoor was oxtercogged home many a night from the pub"  Meaning he was helped along by friends who supported him under the armpits.

Face .. as in to court. ('Can't go to the football tonight, I'm facing ...'
