1901 Census - Liffully in Sark & Guernsey

John Liffully was born about 1858 in Gloucester.   By 1901 he is in Sark as a manager of the Bel Air Hotel.   I understand John  was unmarried?

In the 1901 census I believe there is an Edward Liffully born about 1855 in England living in Guernsey.   Liffully is an uncommon name  and I am unsure if Edward is related to John.   Possibly Edward is using a second christian name which I'm unaware of

I would be grateful for 1901 census records for Edward Liffully living in Guernsey.

Thanks for your quick reply.   So, Edward was born about 1855 but the census gives no clue where in England he was born.   John Liffully, who I mentioned, was one of nine siblings born between 1847-1861 but there is no mention of an Edward, nor is there an Edward Liffully in Free BMD

No there were no other details, unfortunately, so I looked for details of any other census, and couldn't see him anywhere 

Free bmd isn't completely transcribed, have you checked the GRO birth index?
