Quick, quick, I have just read back over your's and Geoff's searching,  that one Annie aged 4yrs gosberton,
  in 1881 Annie gave her age as 23yrs (   1858 )
yet in 1875 when she married she said she was 20 yrs, ( 1855 )
so 1858, she could have been 4 yrs in 1861,    does this read correctly,
did you find her and I missed it, by not giving you all imformation, am I a silly billy  ???
 Eilleen.

The one Ricky found aged 4 was in 1871, so 10 years too young (plus he found her in 1881).

The one I found was called Ann POSSIBLE - you had been commenting on the "great names".

Seriously  :-\ (as I probably said in your first thread) there was no Annie MOORE registered in Spalding district 1853-61 (except Edith Annie in 1853), so ...

she was not registered at all, then her dad died and mother remarried
she was registered under another name, then her mother married a Mr MOORE before 1861 (but we can't see them in 1861)
the name Wm MOORE was simply made up for respectability
she was actually born somewhere else but spent some early years in Gosberton
etc etc

Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

Geoff is a pessimist, but 10 out of 10 for trying,   but I cannot give up,

Ricky , I have pondered over the witnesses but nothing is shouting out,
they are Tom Chambers Exton's brother , that be Edward Exton.
and some gal called Ellen Jessop, doesn't say whether she is a single or married person.

any chance of finding any guest's  who were at this wedding , we could ask them  ;D

That's it I'm booking in to see a medium, my great grandma will spill the bean's.

Ellen Jessop, doesn't say whether she is a single or married person.

A servant (12)  born Gosberton (in 1871 census, in Gosberton)

Daughter of William (28) and Damaris (27) in 1861 - apparently didn't have a sister called Annie :(

Just a thought, which you two may have allready thought of , was there a mrs Moore near or in Gosberton in 1861 , like Geoff said,      if Annie's mum married after Annie was born.

Ricky,  would I be right in thinking , if I found Gosberton parish register's , my Annie's baptism might be there.
