Hello,

I've just joined this forum and was astonished to see your post.

Richard Ashman and Susannah Jones are my great, great grandparents.  I did not know that John Ashman existed. He must have been born and died within a census period.  They lived in the Rassau which is now part of Ebbw Vale, but at the time was part of the old county of Breconshire and thus came under the jurisdiction of the Llangynidr registry.  Do you have scanned copy?

Best Regards,

Thank you for your reply.

I don't suppose you are in contact with your ex-partner.  If you are please could you pass on this message.  I have traced the direct line of this family and maybe I may be able to swap information /research.

No worries if you're not in contact.
