Reuben WRIGHT - Marriage

Would someone kindly look up any/all marriages for Reuben Wright, born c1800 in Elmswell.  I have heard rumours of both a Sophia and an Elizabeth as wives and would prefer to know what the records say.  Certainly the 1841 census has a Sophia Wright but perhaps she died and he married again or she was a second wife? He was a widower by 1861 (can't find him in 1851).  The ages of the children suggest he was married from before 1826 to after 1840.  Thanks in advance ...

Thanks again, Angie.  That would certainly seem to suggest that Sophia was a second marriage (and maybe the first wife's surname was really Steel?)  The next difficulty is who was the mother of which children?  It never stops, does it?!

Aha, more good information Angie    From the list you provided of christenings and the 1851 census records, there must have been two Elizabeths.  Presumably the first one died and the name was reused.  I really appreciate the information you have taken the trouble to provide, thank you.

Is anyone able to fill in the blanks for the other children (in particular Sarah as she is my ancestor) and the other wife?
