Yes thank you Caroline all of these help.

I had the years of death but not the exact dates for Andrew & Janet.
William was the chap Agnes Hunter had a clandestine marriage with (Ian mentions her in his posting) in Netherton so it looks like it is him.

Regards
Sally

I see my thanks for looking up the Jackson has not been listed.  Forgive this please - I'm not sure why this might have been-perhaps I didn't press the right button.

But thanks for your help - an intriguing entry.

Jackson - Lanarkshire;  Dumfrieshire; Peebleshire; Gibson - Lanarkshire; Somerville - Lanarkshire; Ramage - Lanarkshire

I hope that your kind offer is still open.
I have a slew of Callans, apparently all related in Crawfordjohn.
My direct line comes down from Thomas Callan and spouse Janet McQueen.
Thank you,
June.

Hi,
I have a William Bone and Marrion Sandilands who were married in Crawfordjohn and had at least 2 children there. I don't know where they died.  They were born abt 1756 so possibly died 1820s.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Poppysmum,

It appears you've been quite inundated!  I wonder if I might add to your burden?

I have a family of Hyslops living in and around Crawfordjohn during the late-1700s, early-1800s;

Robert Hyslop married Christina McBeth and had Christian (1792), Margaret (1793), Robert (1795), John (1797), Andrew (1800), Daniel (1802), Thomas (1804), Jane (1806), James (1808), Jean (1810).

Any information on Hyslops gratefully received.

Thanks in advance,

Kenny
