Does any one have a copy of the CD mentioned above and would do a look up for me? The CD was put out by the Maritime History Archive Newfoundland.
I do not live in England and this makes it very difficult to get to the PRO to search the merchant seaman records!
I am interested in any listings for the surnames Bridgement/Bridgeman/Bridgman.
I would be most appreciative. My maiden name is Bridgement so I would like to be able to find my ancestor but the name seems interchangeable with Bridgman & Bridgeman.
