Hi can anybody help me with any information on an Alexander Mallace around about 1850 in Armadale he came from St. Cuthberts Edinburgh  he was married to an Agnes Bishop I have found the grave of his 3 infant children at Bathgate but can not find him or his wife.

Have you tried Woodbank Cemetry out toward where Woodend Pit used to be, see attached map and photo.

Marion,
             I checked on Scotlandspeople and found that an Alexander Mallace died in Armadale, West Lothian between 1855 - 1900.

I don't have any credits to look at the record, but you can go there :- www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and download his death certificate which in that year will have a lot of information.
