 :-\ Hi JJ,
I opened the site you suggested regarding the Nrborough congreational church, but unfortunatly it wasn't much use.

Have tried the email address you suggested so we'll wait and see.

Thanks Abi

Are you still looking for info regarding Isaac Wormleighton.
Isaac's parents were William Wormleighton and Sarah Spence who
married 18 July 1803 at Enderby.
Isaac was the youngest of at least 10 children.
If you want any more info just ask
My cousin is a direct descendent of Isaac.

hello woodsman,
I am still looking for any information regarding Isaac wormleighton. I am a descendant of his son Edward. He is a man I can find very little about, apart from what can be gleamed from his death certificate and 2 census entries. I know his father was william wormleighton but it is his earlier life I am interested in. Do you have any earlier info ?
Regards Whizzy.

Hi Whizzy
Isaac Wormleighton's parents were William born c 1779 and Sarah Spence c 1782
They Married 18 July 1803 at St John the Baptist, Enderby. They had at least 10 children, Isaac being the youngest. In the Record Office at Wigston there is an
Examination of William Wormleighton [ref 21 D 51 / viii / 8] where he is trying to gain settlement. In this document it names his two youngest children, Harriet and
Isaac aged 16 and 11. I have been researching the surname Wormleighton for a number of years as I had an aunt whoose maiden name was Wormleighton. She was descended from Edward's brother Isaac. If you want to get in touch my

Oh, dear, I'd thought it was brilliant that you'd left out the com, as we don't allow live email on here...Mostly for your your sake as your email will be spammed horribly once it is found...( and we are a popular site, so soon...remove it if the mods have not done so as yet)
Use the modify button to remove it or replace with ( .com) if you wish...
