I think this might be son Samuel:
Samuel Crimes 25 wheelwright b Cheshire
Martha 25
John 2
Samuel 2 mo

HO107/95/13/20

Can't see an obvious John - will have another look

Thanks Ruskie for your help but due to the ages of the children it doesn't fit, at first I thought the one at Budworth may have been him, thanks again.
Alan.

Jane & Ruskie, Jane unfortunately I don't know anything about them other than they had a son Samuel and I am certain he was born 9th May 1813 the John I think it is may be the one that Ruskie found in Great Budworth but at the moment I have no way of being sure, what makes life more complicated is that in Halton there are the Crimes family and the Chrimes family both at the same period mine is the Crimes one as I have a family Red book of prayer with Eleanor Crimes signature in it..
Alan.

Hi again Alan,

Perhaps the Crimes and Chrimes surnames were interchangable - different spellings of surnames is quite common at that time as you probably know. The IGI does show a lot of C(h)rimes in the area, so it may be worthwhile to consider any likely candidates who spell their surname with the h.

The Gt Budworth John may be with grandchildren/newphews/nieces? Maybe wife Mary died before 1841?

Just my thoughts.

The Samuel Crimes I found in the 1841 has turned into Samuel Chrimes in 1851!

1851
Village of Overton

Samuel Chrimes head mar 36 wheelwright/journeyman born Halton
Martha wife 35
John on 11
Samuel son 9
Mary daur 3

HO107/2164/716/12

And this like it might tie in with your family somewhere:

1851 Halton
Samuel Crimes 74 wheelwright born Chester
Mary wife 76 born Halton
Peter son 28
John Lamb grandson 20 ag lab
