1871 Census - Bird Completed thankyou
« on: Friday 07 September 07 07:17 BST (UK) »
I am looking for George Bird c 1817 (Sharnbook, Beds.) and his wife Sarah and family in 1871. I have found the family in 1841, 51, 61 and 81, but do not seem to be able to find them in 1871.

Sarah was born c 1817 in Souldrop, Beds, and there are a number of children, some of whom could still be with them in 1871

Thomas c 1845
Elizabeth c 1848
John c 1850
Mary c 1852
Joseph c 1855
George c1859

All the children born Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Can anyone else find them in 1871 for me please?

There is a family indexed as BERA which fits most of the criteria. See what you think.
It doesn't read BIRD but may just have been misheard as BURN.
The reference is RG10/1498

I've just had a look, thanks Susan ....and it certainly matches up to them, and could be transcribed as many things including Bera!

Thanks for the help!  :D
