Thank you so much, Norrie!  I suspect you are right about where she is buried.  She has to be around there somewhere because she had lived there since at least 1918.

You were quite right not to stay out in the bad weather.  We actually had some snow here in south east Michigan today.  Brrrrrr.

Thanks again, and I appreciate your help.

Angela

Hello!  I wonder if you are able and willing to help me.  I am looking for the burial/headstone of some called Christina Ross (formerly McCallum and Stewart) who died in Buckhaven in 1953.  Do you have such a person in your records?

Thank you for considering this request.

Angela
A possibility for those of you who have an ancestor who "died in Buckhaven."  There was apparently a nursing home in Buckhaven and after some difficulty I have found several of mine who died in Buckhaven but were buried back in their home parish.  Especially if they were elderly, you might want to check where they came from in case their only reason for being in Buckhaven was the nursing facility.

Hi Angela   have checked the latest Cds by Scottish Monumental Inscriptions
only done in the last year, and there is no headstone for
Christina Ross, McCallum or Stewart in either Methilmill or East Wemyss Cemeteries
which are the local cemeteries for Buckhaven
I can only assume that she has no Headstone.
there is a chance that she was Cremated at Kirkcaldy which opened for
business in the 1940s

Sorry I can't be of more help
