My POUNDER family started in Middleton Tyas at the end of the 18th Century but don't know anything about John & Elizabeth except the births of their children.
They moved to Kirkbymoorside then Stokesley - Robert POUNDER and Benjamin POUNDER
My Great Grandfather, James POUNDER, was born in Stokesley and ended up in Bolton in about 1870 via Lambeth.
He had a brother, Robert POUNDER, who lived in Leeds and had quite a few children but never been able to find anyone descended from him.
