Just to add to this Sturges family............checking through some more of mine Adami Sturges's son William b.1696) married Mary Church from Wymington in 1726 from the info I've been given by a rellie.  This line leads down to my Mums side of the family whereas the possible William Barnett and Ann Sturges link would be on my Dad's side !!

My parents were 7th cousins once removed, then 14th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 31st and 32nd cousins! Or so my relationship calculator tells me.

Found some Sturges folk on here http://www.rushdenheritage.co.uk/

1901 census so don't know where they were prior to that............three from Keysoe anyway.

No wonder I couldn't find David in any census. Looks as though he was actually transported!
