But the Bishops transcripts start in 1602 and are on the IGI, and there are no Sturges in that period. There's the usual gap in the Commonwealth period though

On reviewing this thread I note also that Tim referred to Beds as a tip! It wasn't very tidy the last time I was there but "tip" is a bit harsh!!!

Hello all...................been recommended by Tim to pop in to this site. Don;t know why I haven't before...........there's so much going on.
I'm another one with Adam (or Adami Sturges as he seems to be known) in my tree.
At the minute I'm still finding my way round the site and trying to work out how to add a picture to my posts.............not on the post itself but like an 'avatar'. I'll get there

Make sure that your picture is small enough. If it is too large it won't load.

I did it !!!! Found a smaller one and that solved the problem.
Right now all I have to do is sort out who I'm looking for.........lol
