Victor Young Nantwhich - death and abode needed;
« on: Tuesday 11 September 07 13:26 BST (UK) »
Victor Young was married to Gertie (possibly Emily Gertrude Seddon)  He was still alive, a widower we beieve in Nantwich when I was about 10 (1951) He died we think abt 1970 butm have no exact details.  I would like his age at death and his address if possible; Thank you;
A little about victor's life.

My great uncle Victor born in Derbyshire 1882 to Thomas Henry and Emma Young.  He was part of a travelling family who moved a portable theatre around the midlands;  The Wells pavilion Theatre) After his mother Emma died abt 1995 his father Thomas took Victor off somewhere with him.  We dont know whether they both ended up in Cheshire;  Because Thomas returned to live in Rushden Northants at some time;

thank you eise

Hi Eise
The Free on line B.M.D don't go as far as the year you want
If you have a main library or a family history center in your aria.That have the St Catherins (G.R.O)B.M.D these are on Fitch which you use a Fitch machine to view them.You can then search through the years,when you find victor you can take note and order the Death certificate this will give the information you need ordering a death cert is the only way you will find his address. Good luck

Hi Eise, Nantwich Library has a collection of Johnsons's Nantwich Almanacks which give the addresses of people who lived in the town. I'll have a look for your Victor when I'm in again. Jayson

Hi Eise

I've found Victor Young! His address was 18 Millstone Lane, Nantwich.  He was listed in the following Johnson's Almanacks:

1953, 1955, 1956, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967.  He wasn't living at this address after 1967.  I suppose he could have moved or had died.
