AMENDED: FAO PRU
« on: Wednesday 12 September 07 15:34 BST (UK) »
I am the proverbial "Mrs. Rummage" and can't pass a Junkshop ;D ;D...I found this little gem in a among others whilst in Keswick and paid the princely sum of 50p...It was just begging to be bought ::).....I would be delighted if someone came on the board and said..."That's my (Great) Granny and Grandad" ;D ;D ;D
Well I thought this pic was worthy of some attention for practice purposes and would be fun for idle hands.... but a date would also be good if any has any ideas ;)
T.T.

ADDED: Hi Pru...I would be pleased if you would add this to your superb website for unidentified Victorian and Edwardian photographs...as this site has a captive audience there may be a chance that this photograph can be claimed..in the event of you receiving further enquiries..I would be happy to post on the original free of charge.
Carol..Aka Mrs. Rummage... ;D

Hi TT

What a sad fate for such a lovely picture! Well done for rescuing it. Keeping my fingers crossed that someone recognizes them!

Best wishes, Judy :-))

It's lovely isn't it Judy...ther are no details on the back but it is on a split back postcard so would have thought from the dress that it would date around 1905-1915..You never know...someone out there may know who they are ;)...it didn't feel right to leave it amongst a pile of dusty postcards ::)

T.T. you can bring the date line down to being between 1902 (split postcard backs) and 1909 (after this date the crown on the hats rose higher and the brims wider).
