Has anyone ever heard of Tierneyville.  I am looking for the Tierney Clan, Supposedly, they resided in Limerick or Cork.  I'm wondering if Tierneyville is a clue.  Thanks for any help

I live in Limerick but I've never heard of Tierneyville but Tierney is a common name here, I can't say that there is one area in which it is more popular though.

Thanks Sharon, if I gave you 2 rough dates for births could you possibly see if they came from that area.  Michael Tierney born 1819 and his wife Mary Cushing 1823.   Also I think they might have married in Ireland I don't know for sure.  Any help would be appreciated.
