repair please
« on: Thursday 13 September 07 10:05 BST (UK) »
Searching through my files this evening I found this pic of my grandfather, which I forgot I had.
Quite damaged and the crease is almost at breaking point.
I am surprised I have the original  ;D
Don't tell the rest of the family,  I was probably supposed to give it back to someone ???

Any help appreciated with restoring it.

Thankyou Smurf, Sheila and Tom.
They all look wonderful, so clear, thanks.

Tom, yes it is a great photo, very clear and wonderful lighting.
I have to say I was never fond of this grandfather, he was  very strict Salvation Army and had lived with us for some time.  Unfortunately it was the 70's and myself and most of my siblings were teenagers.  8)
I can still hear him say to my mother. " Iris, those girls shouldn't be doing this or shouldn't be doing that...."  ;D

We were little angels really  ;)

Hi Margaret,

Did wonder about correcting tie. Seems a strange way of arrangement.
Fastening etc seems normal and then 'tail end' just seem to loop over and
disappear.

Never even noticed that, very strange.
I wonder if it was a Welsh thing  ;D
I guess we leave it as it is, tells about his character, or something anyway  ;)
