clark/ teven stirling im getting desperate

help someone please i just cant seem to get any recent history of my family on my fathers side i know my late grandfather alan mcdonald clark was born in stirling somewhere called brick row ???now heard it could possibly be back row    july  1901 and moved to glasgow when he married in1931  iv managed to find his mother and fathers graves in stirling william clark c1863 -1909 and his mothers elizabeth teven/clark/campbell c1866-1931 i know my grandfather had older  brothers and sisters from1901 census but iv hit a brick wall iv even been to the registrars office and she was even lost i really would love to find out something about my grandfathers family and hope to trace a distant relative that can help iv managed to go back pre 1800 but not recent stuff anyone help or point me in right direction to look for info please

hi don't know if you are still looking ..but allen macdonald clark born 1901  was my mothers uncle  . could this be one of your relatives?
he was one of 5 children born to william clark and elizabeth tevan
they were
jane stewart clark.. born 1889
elizabeth clark.. born 1893 died 2/1/1946 ( my grt grandmother)
thomas clark ..born 1897
james clark .. born 1899 ?
allen macdonald clark ..born 1901.
found lots of info on elizabeth tevan (family origanally from co fermannagh)
but have struggled with william clark ..born 1863..died 1909
all I know about him is his parents were
thomas clark ..born 1850?
mary ann bradley ..born 1850?
my mother came from stirling ...hope ths is of help to you ...mal

hi thanks for your reply , it is so nice to find someone on the same track ...I don't have much info on william( my grt grandfather) i'm afraid seem to have hit a brick wall there...but allen macdonald clarks (1901) mother  was Elizabeth tevan  she was my grt grandmother ...I have lots of info on her and her family ..her family originated in ireland ,will collect all info together plus have some copies of birth /death certs and get back to you on it ...kind regards mal
