What other details do you know about him?  Only one I can see is born Seaton Sluice which is 6 miles from Bedlington, parents John & Mabel.

Not to worry, saved my fingers Ricky, didn't type it out in case it wasn't the right one, hoping tazz has some more details from somewhere, if birthplace known, where did that info come from?

Hi Barbara

Was the closest I could see for the area, anyway Bedlington sounds better than Seaton Sluice ;)

Don't you know some of the best beaches are up here in the North-East?  Please see http://www.northumberland.gov.uk/VG/seaton_sluice.html
and then you'll see the name doesn't matter!

Hi Barbara

but thats a modern photo, must admit it looks a nice place, just proves you can never tell by a name of a place, mention Sluice round here and you would know what I meant. ;)
