If you lived and died at Kildress, and were Presbyterian - where would you be buried? Agnetta

You will need to check both Presbyterian churchyards and Church of Ireland ones as many Presbyterians were buried in C. of I. graveyards. In general Presbyterians don't keep burial registers and while C. of I. almost always has a burial register in earlier times they didn't always record Presbyterian burials in the register.

Thanks Aghadowey. I suspected that would be the case. Do you know the names of any graveyards that would have been in the area near Kildress? There is a suggestion that they may have attended Oritor Presbyterian Church. Agnetta

I only know the area in a general way but someone here is bound to be able to know the area better and suggest graveyards.

Do a search on Kildress and it comes up with many resources... maybe worth a shot.  Kind regards, Karen
