Measles Epidemic? Belfast 1871

Does anyone know if there was a Measles epidemic in Belfast in 1871.

My Gr/grandparents 4 year old daughter died of it.

I have tried goggle but with no luck

1878 there were 2,212 reported deaths from measles in Ireland. This site might be of interest alough it's mainly concerned with influenza and pneumonia.
