Hi Judy

What a great photo, he looks like such a nice man.  I was sorry to hear of his sad fate.

I didn't know if he was a county gent or a city one, so have given you both

Cheers

Wow! Thanks everyone for such brilliant restores!!!

Hi Irene - thank you very much for a lovely picture! Can't believe how well it has cleaned up!

Mudge -
As you asked so nicely Judy
Will this do you ??? ??? ???
Mudge
Yes, it will do very nicely!!! If you don't mind me saying so Mudge, your colourings are getting really professional now! :) :)  I don't know what colour eyes he had, but both seem to suit him!

Skippy - thanks for your two versions too. They are lovely. I like your choice of cool colours.

Thanks too Carolyn! Lovely warm colours!

Hi Lones! Love your two versions! Thank you!!

Thanks again to everyone who worked so hard on this photo for me. It is very much appreciated!!  :) :) :)

Judy   ;) ;) ;)

Best wishes, Judy :-))

Thanks Judy, nice of you to say so :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Practice makes perfect so they say. I still have bad days, when the product fails "quality assurance inspection" and therefore does not get posted  ::) ::) ::)
The trouble with this restoration lark is that it's addictive :-\ :-\ :-\, and it's interferring with my photography, as I can't be doing both at the same time :( :( :( :(

I couldn't agree more! Thanks so much, Skippy! Fabulous!!

And thanks again to everyone who worked on this photo for me. You have all done my great uncle Fred proud. I don't know how old he was in this photo, but he was only 25 when he was killed. I have a photo of him in a football team and he was such a little chap! I hope that the short life that he had was a happy life! He wasn't married, but I know from his obituaries that he had a sweetheart. :)
