First place you should check is LDS site: www.familysearch.org
IGI has an Arthur Close born 28 Jan.1866 Shankill, Antrim to Bryan Close & Mary Jane McKeown. Other children listed as Esther (1870), James (1874), Patrick (1876), Bryan (1878).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Guys thanks very much for that info.Really appreciated.Im still not sure if its the Arthur Im looking for.His father was supposed to have been a publican in the Hannahstown area.How could I confirm this.
