Only surviving photo of loved family member,needs clean and colour please.

Hi to all,this is the only photo we have of Joan,a loved family member taken in her garden in the late 1940s early 50s,at Nae Nae Wellington N.Z.Joan passed away in 1955 and her aniversery is coming up in Nov,so would dearly love to be able to give a colourised and repaired photo to my siblings.Many thanks in advance.Gereon.

Thanks Irene,thats a much better image,I think I am able to date the photo to 1953 when Joan was married.So sad,she died two years later,the day after her wedding aniversary in 1955.Hi China Kay,to be really Patriotic ,Joan,who was descended from the ancient Cannon Family of Donegal,would need orange hair and green eyes  Hoping someone can add some colour please.Cheers.Gereon.

Gee, gereon, that really is tragic. How awful.

The brooch at her neckline may be made of leather, if it's not real flowers. My mother had a very similar thing, a bit simpler, made of very soft dyed leather in brown/rust sort of autumn shades, dating from about the same time period.
