Wise family in Yattendon and Lambourne

Hi,

Can someone see if there were members of a Wise family living Yattendon in the censii? for 1941 and 1951?  Sarah b1778, George b1780, John b1781 and William b1783.  I know this is a long shot as Sarah would have been 63 in 1841 and probably married.  The others 61, 60 and 58 respectively.  It is possible that George and William married and moved to the Cookham/ Bray/ Warfield area.  But there may be other relatives still living in Yattendon.  Their parents were Thomas Wise and Sarah neé Bedmead (poss Bidmead) I think born in Lambourne.  Most of this info came from IGI.

Not very hopeful, but you never know.......

In the 1841 census, there are only 7 people with the WISE surname residing in Yattendon: (none that you are looking for)

In 1851, there are no WISEs living in Yattendon, I can find Harriet (now married - surname NORMAN), Elizabeth (living with her sister in Frilsham) and Isaac - a lodger in Hampstead Norreys.

Looking at 1851, there are two WISEs shown as born Lambourn:

In East Garston

Elizabeth, Wid, 70, Pauper, with her is William HOLDER, Son, 41, Unmarried listed as a Tea Dealer (born East Garston).

In Lambourn, Goose Green:

Mary, Un, 82, Proprietor of Houses, she has a visitor and servant listed with her at the time of the census.

There are four WISEs shown in Lambourn in 1841 (you can't search for birthplace), I'll list these a little later.

Here are the 4 WISEs from 1841 living in Lambourn:

Mary WISE, 70, FS (Female Servant) - born in County.
she is living in a household (can't read the surname) and is the last listed.

William WISE, 66, Smith - born in county
Sarah WISE, 71,  , not born in county
Mary Ann TOE, 15, FS - born in county

I have changed my mind several times regarding whether the "born in county" is Y or N for William.   Mary Ann is indexed as a WISE but I think the transcriber has read Toe as Do (ditto).
