remove yellow paper please

hi all
ive just received five old family photos from a distant relative
and im just buzzing 
one is of my great great grandparents unfortunatly but with all good intentions they have stuck a piece of yellow paper in the middle with the names of the people on it would anyone be kind enough to remove or block it out , and hazard a guess at the date  they were both born in 1859 and both lived in to there nineties
i appologise if the dpi isnt correct but the gentleman who sent them readily admitted he wasnt good with computers, its taken him 8 weeks to send but im eternaly gratefull he did and well worth the wait
