Critchley from Wigan

Hello, Does anyone know of Thomas Critchley born 1880 Standish Wigan his dad was Shadrack mother Elizabeth, I know he married Catherine Turner in 1904 at St. Wilfreds.
They had at least one son Samuel/Sam Thomas moved in to live with Hannah Lindley on Pansy Road Farnworth in the 1930`s he died in 1936 and was buried at St. Wilfreds, Wigan. any information about this family would really be appreciated.

Have you checked the 1881 census at www.familysearch.org?  You will find them at 69 Preston Road, Standish with Langtree, father's name has been transcribed as Thedrick.

Shadrach Critchley married Elizabeth Banks at St Wilfreds, Standish 1875.

I wonder if the name of his wife in 1901 is an error, I don't see another marriage for Shadrach between 1891 and 1901, but then I haven't searched all the images, just checked the transcribed index.  There is another marriage for a Shadrach in 1906 to Annie Heaton, in Leigh.

You need to establish with the marriage certificate which one of the two families is the correct Shadrach before we can go further.
