is there any sites where i can find street maps of glasgow up til end of 1960s

Also take a look at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow, website to see what they have.

www.streetmap.co.uk is quite good for current streets but quite a lot of Glasgow streets may not appear on it because they have been obliterated by motorways, redevelopment etc and other 'progress'.

cheers this lot will do for now as im trying to find last known address for my dads sister and his late parents my dad never told us anything about his life b4 he moved to london after he died i moved to scotland with my partner only to discover my grandfather was born 2 mins away and nosey that i am decided to delve deeper iv gone back hundreds of years and got stuff but after my grandfather moved to glasgow wen he married from 1931 til present  nothing  other than my grandparents deaths and my father had a sister which i found out from registrar people on this site have been really helpful but no one can trach her so i thought id try a different line
