Dear Pam
I've been silly really. I realise that my Leah would have been nearly thirty by the time of the 1841 census and married and called Leah Elias and living in Merthyr.
What I want is to know where in St Mellons the family lived.
Is anyone able to locate John and Jennett and their family in St Mellons on the censuses please?
Diolch
Thank you

On the 1851 Leah is born in Newport.
!861 she is down as Ėlia Elias, born Monmouthshire, ? RG9/4060. Ancestry says Saintmoton but I think that's a mistranscription for St. Mellons.
1871 and 1881(she's Sarah on that!) both state St. Mellons
1891 Leah is a widow 75 born St. Mellons.
