Looking for info on John Crombie (b. c1821) and his wife Susannah Park.  They came to Scotland around 1855-60.  Census returns here show their place of birth as County Down, Ireland.  All of their children were also born in County Down between 1840 and 1854.  They appear on the 1861 census for Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland but it is difficult to find any record of them whilst in Ireland.
Would love to get details of their marriage/parents/children/place of residence....anything!!

Interestingly there are no Crombie households in the Griffiths Valuation but 25 Park households in Co Down alone. This was taken 1863-4  in Down, after your family had left.

I would suggest searching the 1871,81, 91 and 1901 census for all childrne born in Ireland for a clue for the parish or townland.
