So  when  do  you  think  the  photo was  taken? In  the one  with  his mother and son  that son  John  was born  in 1913.

I have no idea on dates, but he doesn't look much older thatn 20 to me.  So around 1902 would be my guess.  Prue or OR would know, their brilliant on dates...

Here is Grandma, I hope it's okay.  I tried to keep to the same or matching colour scheme in case you wanted to have them as a set in a frame, or on a page.

Now  that  is just so  nice

the colour  softens great grandma's features

Now  the  one  with  GGM  and GUHarry   would  have  to be  roughly  1916  going on  the fact  that he married  in 1912  and  had  the little boy  in  the photo an only child  in  1913  and  two me  looks  about  3 

there are no  dates  or  anything  apparently  written  on  the back!

but  definitely  three  different events  the  two  brothers had a falling  out  in  their early  twenties  and  Never  spoke again!!! or so family history  tell us!!

Now Lones  you need  one  of  those new fangled  workplace agreements  so  you  can  have  "me time"  on  the computer  for  says  half  the day

I agree Jenn, that workplace agreement would really brighten my day...

It is so sad they had a falling out, the family group looks so loving, there is a special bond between the grandma and the little boy, it really shows in the pic.  What a pity the family was torn by the two brothers.  They both look so nice too.  Family's they really are the limit aren't they?

I am glad you like the colourings and I look forward to your next ones.  I just need to detox for awhile now..
