I notice you used to wear your plaits like my Mum made me wear mine and if not that way looped across the back with 2 big ribbons behind each ear!

That 'style' was for Sundays as was the dress!
Mostly Mum put my hair in straightforward plaits!  I do remember being pleased when I could do it myself.  Not so painful.
