Chirk Parish Records 1836-HUGHES

If anyone has acess to Chirk Baptisms, please could you look for a Thomas HUGHES born c 1836 in Chirk. I know from his marriage cert. that his father is also a Thomas.

As Thomas Hughes was not that uncommon, do you have any occupational details, etc. that might help pin them down?

On the marriage cert Thomas Snr is shown as an engineer.

By 1871 Thomas jnr was married and had moved to Cefn Mawr. I havn't found him in 61 or 51 census. Jenny

He doesn't seem to be on the 1841 - so I'm wondering if the family had already moved to Cefn by then (collieries, etc) and the Wrexham-Ruabon 1841 records are lost 

The 1851 isn't available on Ancestry. I have a copy but it's not indexed    In 1861, quite a lot of the records are missing for the Ruabon area.
