Googling brings up several references to Biskey Howe. Not sure if the cottage is still there with the same name.

You might be forced to pay a trip there - worse things could happen!

Undermillbeck Common is an area of land to the south of the Kendal to Bowness minor road, via Crook. My map doesn't show a Biskey Howe cottage though Bowness has a Biskey Howe Road. If you search Multimap, you'll find it.

I have old Kendal books. If I can find Glen Place, I'll get back to you.

Hi,

The Glen is a guest house, as you say, outside Oxenholme. It was built as a house for the stationmaster in the late 1800s. As far as I am aware, it stands by itself, there is certainly no street close by, though there may have been railway cottages at one time. It would be worth checking on the 1901 census to see if there was a Glen Place thereabouts.
