Before I start to play around with the photo chinakay, did g/dad have a goiter and g/ma's head seems too large for the body has some already 'had a goŽ? Only I keep looking at it and it seems strange to me. No disrespect intended

Hi Indaloman, no, they really looked like that I just scanned the photo half an hour ago. I don't think there was a goiter although they certainly lived in the "goiter belt", the Canadian Prairies.

This is my first post on this forum.  I had a spare fifteen mins so I've just tried to clean the image up a bit.  With a bit more time a bit of colour could potentially be added to it

Here's a couple from me.  I think the "goiter" is some unfortunate positioning of the lace from the curtains.

So annoying, there is quite a difference between the two but it hardly shows up when posted.    The second one has higher contrast.
