Jacob Brown married Sophia Howard 11th Oct 1839 Belchamp Otten. Grooms father was David Brown, brides father was William Howard. Witnesses were William Brown and Charlotte Steggles.

These are the children I found for Jacob and Sophia. There might have been more, the PR's only go up to 1856.
Joseph baptised 7th June 1840, buried 28th March 1843
Benjamin baptised 14th Apr 1842, buried 28th March 1843 (buried with his brother Joseph)
Joseph baptised 22nd March 1848, buried 8th April 1848
Julia baptised 5th May 1849
Emma Anne baptised 3rd August 1851, buried 21st Sept 1851
Jane baptised 29th Oct 1852, buried 16th January 1853
Walter baptised 29th Oct 1852, buried 13th February 1853
Walter baptised 3rd June 1854, buried 22nd Sept 1854
Robert baptised 9th October 1855
Catherine b abt 1858

Jacob Brown was buried 5th March 1891 and his wife Sophia Howard was buried 1st Oct 1891

Hi Joan, I have a family tree of my wife's ancestors who were Browns from Belchamp Walter the oldest a David Brown born 1742 through eleven [11]  generations from 1752 to date. with quite a few interesting stories along the way, I am willing to share this info with you, rather a lot to E Mail you with, I am willing to Post it for you, and I hope you will enjoy sorting out the Browns.

Hi grossan, Most of my forebears came from Gestingthorpe, the Browns were my Wife's family, I have one Thomas Cranfield who Married Sophie Chinnery in
1853, she was from Gestingthorpe born 1838, I am sorry but is the only link I have Yopurs Ramon Chinnery.
