Does it still exist?
« on: Wednesday 26 September 07 00:13 BST (UK) »
Hi, can anyone tell me if Rochetts still stands? It was once the residence of Admilral Sir John Jervis (later Earl St Vincent) in the early 19century and I think he died there. I'm not sure whereabouts in Essex it is. Many thanks, Jayson

I think so. This is a starting point for you anyway.

It's in South Weald near Brentwood.
This link is to Multi Map, switch to the hybrid view and you'll see Rochetts marked.

Perhaps a little bit of Googling may confirm the answer. Or try land registry. Or see if the image of the house is on images of England

The lodge is up for sale!
