Lion and family in need of touch up please

Is there any chance that the creases on this picture be removed please.

I have scanned at 600dpi.

It is a treasured photo taken in Leek, Staffordshire.

I have just p.m'd eilidh in regard to the colouring of the tartan skirts the young girls are wearing.  Just in case anyone wants to do it in colour,  I for one being tempted.

She does not recall, but stated her family are from the Donaldson clan, a quick check on the net links them to the Macdonald clan.

here is a possible choice of colours, there was a few variations but this one looks the closest to the pic.

I thought it would be nice to see the girls in a specific clan dress 

 edit - It wasn't quite as purplish as the scan is showing, more dark blues.

Hello Sutton Rug,

Many thanks for your restoration, the two little girls have come up a treat,
but I think the large creases over Mum's face have made it too hard to get
a good resemblance. 

Do you think it would be better to have mum removed from this pic?

Ok lets leave mum on the lion  

I have posted another pic which may help get
a better resemblance. This pic was taken on the
same day.

Unfortunately I dont have the original, this pic
was emailed to me and had been laminated.

Hi Helen,
here is my black and white restore,
let me know if you are happy with the face of your mum.
If not, won't do a colour. 

Having said that, I may not have time for the colour as daughter has just come  in with a job for me
