What can I say, the coloured picture is just lovely.

I am going to have both printed off today, and send
copies to my mother in New Zealand.

It will cheer her up no end.  It is amazing how good
they both are.

When I posted this picture for restoration, I didn't
think that the result would be so spectacular.

Hi Margaret,

Yes definitely a big improvement. Shirley was my
younger sister, when this photo was taken we
had just been feeding the swans, and she was
trying to eat the last of the bread.

It is such a shame that the picture was laminated.
Would it be better if I scanned at a higher dpi,
600 perhaps.

I emailed my daughter the restorations, she cannot
believe how good they are.

yes, it would be much better at 600 dpi, if you put it in as a separate restore you might get a few people giving some great results.

glad your daughter liked them.
