Hi new to all this. Can anybody help with this picture. I scaned it the was it said on board hope I got it right.

The original was quite badly damaged.  However, here is my restore.  Hope you like it.

Thanks Tom, but you have the eyes better for sure. Had to make myself stop working on it and get some sleep :) enjoyed it though, did you?

Yes, the original was nice and big and made all the difference.  I started with the wee boys face then his clothes.  It went well until I began to repair the background and floor, thats when I lost the texture of the surfaces.  Your restore was spot on,  and I could see that you have an artistic flair as you got your shadows and details such as the table edge all looking very natural.   I'm just an old hammer and chisel engineer.
I was wondering if "highway" knew why the wee boy was wearing a rosette?
