Hi Susan
I checked out the info that you gave me and it all is beginning to add up.
It appears that Grace Millar and Andrew Forbes are not the parents of Andrew Forbes (jnr). I will have to start looking at the 'new' parents now noted. I traced Andrew to the 1901 census (hopefully the correct Andrew) and he then stayed in a poor house, presuming the children married and moved away

Sorry there is no link with the McKenzies.
The Forbes saga was just one of the many, it is the Irish Fahy's from Galway who are my biggest challlenge.
