Hi Kerry!
Welcome to RootChat! Have you entered your surnames on the "surname interest table" (SIT)? See this link (it's right at the bottom of the page);
http://surname.rootschat.com/
You can enter all your surnames, plus you have a bit of space for specific names and dates. You can also look for others searching for the same names in the same areas.
If you have any specific queries please post them on the appropriate county/ or query boards.
Hope you enjoy Rootschat!

Hiya,
I've got Hintons in Worcs, be interested to hear if you have any connection to:

John bn. Rushock (allegedly, but can't find a baptism for him) about 1782 and married to Elizabeth Carter of Severn Stoke

Their son William bn. 1819 Hampton Lovatt married to Harriet Curtis (after coming south, in Wiltshire).

Cheers,

I have no long lines of hintons, which is a shame.  i am married to an hinton, and the furthest i have is his grandfather and cant find anything else without buying birth certificates etc.

I have a 'Catherine Smith', daughter of John Smith, born 1868 in Severn Stoke, who married a 'William Bennett', son of John Bennett, in Severn Stoke in 1894.

It makes me feel very old to say that these were my grandparents!!!

Any connection?
