Does anyone know of john Mckenna born 1831 in carrick , he married a bridget ,surname as yet unknown , but the moved to co/durham england and had a family , iknow its not a lot to go on i just thought someone out there might have them in there tree ,, long shot ,bridgete's dob is app 1833.and i only have her down as in rosscommon,

henry barker,1848,stockton,w-elisabeth 1848 ncle.
philip donohoe 1826 louth ireland.?.

Hello csuk,

There are three items which are required when searching for Irish ancestors.

1. Denomination.
2. Parish.
3. Townland.

You'll have to rely on Church records as your ancestors were born prior to the introduction of Civil Registration in Ireland. This happened in 1864. The marriages of Non Catholic were registered from 1845 onwards.
