1891 & 1901 census Lookups please - Joseph ROGERS
« on: Tuesday 02 October 07 03:27 BST (UK) »
Another family which I haven't been able to find is Joseph ROGERS B 1844 Leighton Buzzard and his wife Catherine B 1843 Leighton Buzzard. I have them in census prior to 1891. Hoping someone may be able to help.  regards, Margaret.

Hi
They do seem to have gone into hiding :( No chance they died or emigrated? There is this lady in 1891 who looks a possibility, the ? is the enumerators not mine. No head listed for this household.

Hi Jan,
Many thanks for this census info. It looks very like it may be Catherine. Joseph had a brother living in Kensington and he had a cousin who married a Barker so will have a look into this. Joseph was my Grandfather's eldest brother. I haven't been able to find a death or if they emigrated - so many Joseph Rogers.  regards, Margaret

I've searched every which way but can't see Joseph in 1891 or either of them in 1901 :(
Jan ;)

Many thanks Jan for putting in the time to try and find them. They are a mystery. Perhaps they emigrated or died?  regards, Margaret.
