http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/recordsearch.aspx

if you search as a guest, you will see John Rowland Edwards enlisted in WW1, he was born Lancashire and his father is down as William Roland Edwards.  He enlisted in Queensland.  There is a digital file of his service record.

You will see Arthur on the same site.
Also with father as NOK.
The address is Girler Street, Hendra, Brisbane.  so that narrows the search area down a bit.

Hi if you go to the National Archives of Australia, www.naa.gov.au and do a name search there are two records concerning that family from Lancashire, at Queensland. Should give you a start!
